OUR CURRENT STANCE ON SWEARING.

There has been a clash about swearing, and I just want to clear things up.

Swearing is currently allowed as long as it is not being used against other people. (e.g., "oh fuck!" is fine, "fuck you" is not)

However, as this forum mimics a democracy, the president (elected) may choose whether or not to ban it. The only political party established so far, the Minecraft Party, is pro-swearing. If you don't like it, create your own pro-censoring party and run for president.

But then would you be able to claim that what somebody has typed is bullshit or not as it does offend a person yet it is not directly aimed at them... Only at the points they are trying to make.

It depends on the context.

For example... Here are two scenarios.

1: Person A; "I think we should be able to x." Person B; "That's bullshit." Result? No ban. Why? Because this is a real argument.

2: Person A; "I like pokemon." Person B; "Pokemon's bullshit." Result? Ban. Why? Because Person B is insulting Pokemon just to make Person A angry.

Hurray! Now I can continue my land of shitzerland!
